New Fan of Liquid Force Havoc...

Just posted on Bellingham Board Sport Group:
Demo'd the 10m Havoc today in 25 mph winds. I've used the 10m thruster for the last year, and demo'd an Epic (which is sick too),, But overall the Havoc wins all around for my level of riding. By no means am I a wake style rider, or someone that does KL's.  But I'm learning to do KL's and trying to perfect the backroll. For me this is the kite I need to use, since I always felt comfortable trying new stuff with the Havoc today.   I really liked the low end power, and enjoyed not oversending and kite looping it while doing BR's.., .. and when I actually tried throwing the KL in the BR it felt totally in hand (most of the time). All in all the Havoc wins against the Thruster and Epic for my ability and progression.
For someone that wants a very fast kite you should go with an Epic.  But for people that want to progress quicker and not get pounded while learning back rolls and KL's I think the Havoc is the best bet.

BKB Community Center Memberships

It seems like ages ago that we were shoveling out rat invested garbage from what now has become a popular meeting place for Locust riders.  In just a few short months, with the help and generosity of many individuals, the once abandoned shed has been transformed into a warm, comfortable, and welcome addition to the Locust experience.
In order to maintain the Locust Community Center and continue to improve the space and services offered, we are encouraging everyone to contribute financially through memberships.
We offering memberships, to give you have access to the center, restroom and gas fireplace, to use for your kiting or SUPing activities. For a little more, you can sign out Starboard Standup Paddleboards in addition to access to the center.
We hope that you enjoy the center and are excited about seeing it succeed and improve.  So many of you have commented on how much you appreciate the secure parking, the dry and warm pre and post session space, and the ability to meet up with friends in a common space; many have asked how they can help.  Hopefully these new memberships will help sustain the center and build community!
Please call us at 360-SPLASH1 (360-775-2741) or email us to find out how to subscribe and on our plans for the center. We hope you continue to enjoy and benefit from Locust Community Center!
